Let the School Begin
This whole Covid pandemic has had a toll on all our lives. The world has changed and in so many ways also people’s lives. Today, as schools slowly reopen in Italy, we are grateful that we are healthy and that we are more prepared to what must come if numbers should rise again. In the meantime, life must restart from somewhere and I am glad that schools have reopened. Of course, we are following all the guidelines and the rules keep our loved ones and the community safe. We are very aware that the virus is still a threat.
Isabella was so excited this morning I could barely keep up with her. Had to compromise with her to be able to shoot some pictures of her while she was getting ready and walking to school. I just love first days and can't give up documenting these moments. This first day was special because she finally got to see her teachers and all her friends after months of lockdown.
The weather was as uncertain as these times but luckily it wasn’t pouring. She is now facing first days like a pro. I wonder for how many years she will let me take pictures of her before taking my camera and throwing it in the garbage…
